Event Details

A monthly evening of cultural family-friendly activities and fun hosted by the Culture Language Arts Network and other MAIC programs. This month’s theme is “It’s Giving Spring.”

The evening includes:

  • Dinner (5:00 – 6:00 p.m.)
    • Turkey wild rice soup with cornbread made by Gatherings Cafe
    • Available for the first 100 attendees
  • Art activities
    • Building seed bombs
    • Making bracelets
    • Decorating cardboard crowns
  • Physical activities
    • Basketball skill drills
    • Dakota and Ojibwe Stick and Hand Games
  • Raffle
  • Gift giving
    • All are invited to bring a gift if they are able. People who bring a gift will receive a gift. This is to teach and practice generosity and reciprocity. Gifts do not need to be brand new, but a gift of $10 value is recommended.
