A monthly evening of cultural family-friendly activities and fun hosted by the Culture Language Arts Network and other MAIC programs. This month’s theme is “It’s Giving Spring.”
The evening includes:
- Dinner (5:00 – 6:00 p.m.)
- Turkey wild rice soup with cornbread made by Gatherings Cafe
- Available for the first 100 attendees
- Art activities
- Building seed bombs
- Making bracelets
- Decorating cardboard crowns
- Physical activities
- Basketball skill drills
- Dakota and Ojibwe Stick and Hand Games
- Raffle
- Gift giving
- All are invited to bring a gift if they are able. People who bring a gift will receive a gift. This is to teach and practice generosity and reciprocity. Gifts do not need to be brand new, but a gift of $10 value is recommended.
